Terms of Service

Last updated: September 26, 2026

The basics

These terms are an agreement between you and Classifido LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. By using ClassiFido, you agree to them.

If you're a parent or guardian setting up an account for your student, you're agreeing on their behalf as well.

We've tried to keep this readable. If something doesn't make sense, email us and we'll explain it.

What ClassiFido does

ClassiFido gathers the schedules and assignments your student's teachers publish and puts them in one weekly view. We read the documents and calendars your school and its teachers make available, and we assemble them. We don't create the content — teachers do.

What that means in practice

We show you what teachers publish. If a teacher hasn't posted this week's work, or posts it somewhere we can't read, it won't appear. We'll tell you when we couldn't read something rather than pretending there was nothing there.

We can be wrong. We read documents written for humans, not for software. Sometimes a teacher changes a format and we misread it. ClassiFido is a convenience, not the system of record — your school's own tools are.

Don't rely on us alone for something that matters. If a test date or an assignment is important, check it against the source.

Your account

You'll need an account, and it's created either by a parent or guardian, or by a student aged 13 or over.

Sign-in goes through your Google or Microsoft account, or a link we email you. Keep those secure — anyone with access to your email can get into ClassiFido.

Tell us right away if you think someone else has gotten into your account.

Students and parents

A parent or guardian can see everything in their student's account. That's deliberate — this is a family product.

A student can use ClassiFido themselves: see their week, and manage their own classes and links. What a student can change, a parent can see and change too.

What you can do with it

Use ClassiFido for your own family. Don't resell access, don't scrape it, don't try to reach another family's data, and don't use it to do anything illegal.

We probably didn't need to write that down, but here we are.

Teachers' content belongs to teachers

The schedules and assignments in ClassiFido were written by your student's teachers and belong to them or their school. We display them to the families entitled to see them. Don't republish them elsewhere.

ClassiFido belongs to us

The software, the design and the way it works are ours. These terms let you use ClassiFido — not copy it or build a competing product from it.

Paying for it

ClassiFido may charge for some or all of its use. Any price is shown before you agree to pay.

When things break

We're a small team running a small product. We'll keep it working and tell you when something's wrong, but we don't promise it will always be available, and we don't offer a service-level guarantee.

ClassiFido depends on things outside our control — your school's systems, Google's, teachers' documents. When those change, we sometimes break.

School devices may block us. Many schools filter what their devices can reach, and a product they don't recognize is blocked by default. Until your school allows ClassiFido, it may not open on a school-issued laptop or tablet. Ask your school's technology team to allow classifido.com.

Ending it

You can stop using ClassiFido at any time and ask us to delete your data. See the Privacy Policy for what that means.

We can suspend or close an account that's being misused in the ways listed above, or if we shut the product down. If we ever shut down, we'll give you notice and time to save what you need.

Liability

We stand behind the product, but we need to be reasonable about risk. ClassiFido isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses — a missed assignment, a missed test, a grade. Our total liability is limited to what you've paid us in the previous 12 months.

This is standard for software, and it's why the "don't rely on us alone" paragraph above is there.

Changes to these terms

If something material changes, we'll update this page and show a notice in ClassiFido at least 15 days beforehand. If you keep using ClassiFido after that, you're agreeing to the new terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

If we have a dispute we can't resolve between us, it will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its consumer arbitration rules, in Georgia or remotely. Either of us may still bring a claim in small claims court instead.

We each agree to bring claims only on our own behalf, not as part of a class action.
